The Shiba Inu Metaverse, widely regarded as the most eagerly awaited project on SHIB’s layer-2 Shibarium, officially launched its beta on Mar 11.
The creators showcased the WAGMI Temple Hub in the Metaverse at the SXSW festival, using immersive extended reality technology.
Additionally, the experience offered a detailed preview of the region’s look and feel, providing a glimpse into the future of virtual reality.
However, the WAGMI Temple, which takes its name from the crypto rallying cry “We’re All Going to Make It,” is the first of 11 centers in the SHIB metaverse.
The official Shiba Inu token website describes the Wagmi Temple as a place for relaxation, meditation, nature, and spiritual connection.
It offers a Zen-like environment and links to the earth for a calming experience. It is intended to guide users through the origins of SHIB, the discovery of the token, and its decentralized principles.
Sometimes abbreviated as SXSW or South By, the South by Southwest festival and conference is an annual conglomeration of simultaneous film, interactive media, and music festivals and seminars organized and conducted in Austin, Texas, in Mar.
This year, the tournament ran from Mar 12–14. The Shiba Inu crew recently celebrated “SHIB The Metaverse’s” premiere, which marked the Metaverse’s entrance into SXSW.
Shiba Inu Community Hosts Epic Metaverse Happy Hour To Launch SXSW Interactive Track
The “metaverse happy hour” event occurred on Mar 11 at the Shiba Inu community and departure lounge. The organizers held the event from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. CST. It marked the conclusion of press day and the launch of the SXSW Interactive track.
Additionally, the Dark VR and “Shib the Metaverse” was included in the immersive music video, accessible to guests of the XR Exhibition.
The event featured Marcie Jastrow, a SHIB metaverse advisor. However, Jastrow held a panel discussion titled “READY, SET, METAVERSE” about the creative and technical aspects of producing metaverse experiences using modern technology.
Before that, Marcie Jastrow represented SHIB by attending the Immerse Global Summit in Miami, Florida, in Dec.
Additionally, the Third Floor, a collaborator, and Jastrow shared hosting duties for the panel. A huge event will once again highlight the SHIB metaverse. TerraZero, Microsoft, Web3Equity, and Facebook’s Meta participating companies were also in attendance.
